Sapa Town
Sapa town is a highland town which is a famous resort in Sapa district, Lao Cai province, Vietnam. This place hides many wonders of nature. The topography of the mountains, the green color of the forest trees creates a picture with a harmonious layout. It posesses a poetic landscape in the Northwest.
Sapa town lies on a site at an altitude of 1500 to 1650 meters on the slopes of Lo Suay Tong mountain. The peak of this mountain can be seen in the southeast of Sa Pa, at an altitude of 2228 meters. Looking down from the town, there are Ngoi Dum valley in the east and Muong Hoa valley in the southwest.
Sapa town has a subtropical climate, but due to its high altitude, the air is cool all year round. In the summer, the weather in Sapa town has four seasons a day. In the morning, the weather is like spring, At noon, it turns to summer. In the afternoon, clouds creates a cold feeling like the autumn. Finally, the night has the cold climate like winter.
