Located just 300 meters from Kuang Si Waterfall, Kuang Si Butterfly Park is a project launched in January 2014. The two Dutch founders aimed to establish a research center dedicated to Lao butterflies and the local ecosystem. The project focuses on conserving natural resources, providing formal environmental education, and training young scientists.

The center has gradually attracted more visitors thanks to its diverse ecosystem and lush green surroundings. 2. Exploring Kuang Si Butterfly Park

Kuang Si Butterfly Park is designed to create a natural environment where butterflies can thrive. 3. The Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit is from November to May, when the weather is generally dry. Visitors should avoid the rainy season from July to October, when the river water can become muddy. To avoid crowds, it is recommended to arrive in the morning at around 8:00 AM. This is also one of the coolest times of the day, making it more comfortable to walk around and explore the park.

4. Kuang Si Butterfly Park Visitor Information

Kuang Si Butterfly Park is open from August to May and closes during the rainy season. Opening hours are from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and the park is closed on Thursdays. Admission costs 30,000 kip (approximately VND 35,354) for adults and 15,000 kip (approximately VND 17,677) for children. Visitors can also join a 15-minute guided tour to learn more about butterflies and the local ecosystem.
