This morning, leave the hustle and bustle of the city and drive to the verdant Mekong River Delta.
At 10:00 a.m., set sail from Phu An Jetty. Observe life onshore from the deck of your sampan – people going about their daily routines against stunning settings – as your attentive crew serves tea and fresh fruit. Before arriving in Sa Dec, stop at several spots along the river to see some of the region’s cottage businesses, such as a brick factory where everything is manufactured by hand, and travel across monkey bridges and little towns to visit a Cao Dai temple.

When you get in Sa Dec, take a stroll to the outdoor market. Visit one of the town’s attractions, the historic mansion of Huynh Thuy Le, a real-life figure in Marguerite Duras’s acclaimed novel and film “The Lover.”
Lunch is provided on board as the boat travels towards Can Tho along a small canal bustling with life.
By local rowboat, you may explore the surrounding area.
Before nightfall, your final stop is at an ancient home (a “Nha Co” in Vietnamese) from the nineteenth century. In this true countryside location, the owner invites you to his house and serves you a romantic meal.
Return to the sampan after supper and proceed to the Hau River. Overnight stay on board.

Transfer to Can Tho International Airport for a local flight to Danang.
