You have the entire day today to visit Vietnam’s lovely capital. Hanoi is an eclectic blend that provides something for everyone, with its broad tree-lined boulevards, French colonial buildings, calm lakes, and ancient oriental pagodas. The Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt home), the Presidential Palace, the neighboring One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, West Lake, with the calm Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple, and one of the city’s museums are all included in your city trip (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum). Later in the afternoon, enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Performance – a unique Vietnamese art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture.

After breakfast, your driver will meet you at the hotel at 8:00 a.m. to take you on a 4-hour trip through the Red River Delta area to Halong Bay.
Welcome aboard and begin sail across Bai Tu Long Bay while your seafood feast is prepared.
Rest your gaze on the turquoise waters of this enchanting bay, where hundreds of carved limestone islands rise like dragon teeth from the seas, traveling through the scenic region near Mat Quy islet and Am islet.
Mid-afternoon, visit Cua Van fishing hamlet and take a relaxing bamboo boat ride around the town, which has a museum and a school amidst floating homes.
Visit Tien Ong cave before returning to the ship for sunset drinks and canapés.
Dinner will be provided on the boat.

Begin the day early with a Tai Chi session on the top deck, where you will be able to take in the breathtaking dawn over the sea. Following that, you may go swimming at Soi Sim beach or join your chef for a culinary demonstration to learn more about Vietnamese food art. Immerse yourself in the peace and tranquillity of this peaceful riverbank village. Hoian was a prosperous international port from the 16th to the 18th century, frequented by Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese, and Arab traders who came to deal in the high quality silk still manufactured in the vicinity. Today, Hoian is a pleasant tourist destination known for its diverse architecture, talented tailors, and several cafés. Take a half-day walking tour through the historical quarter’s small winding lanes, stopping at Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year-old Tan Ky family residence, and the famed Japanese Bridge.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel north to Hue across the 500m-high Hai Van pass. Stop for a drink at the picturesque Lang Co Beach before continuing on to Hue, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Spend the day traveling around Vietnam’s historical capital city, stopping at the Royal Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the Mausoleum of Monarch Tu Duc (a duplicate of the monarch’s palace created for the next reincarnation of the king), before touring the Imperial Museum and Dong Ba Market.

After breakfast, head to the airport to catch your flight to Saigon, Vietnam’s contemporary city. Arrive in the late morning and take an orientation trip through the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City on your way to the hotel. Have lunch at a downtown restaurant of your choice before embarking on a guided city tour. In the afternoon, you’ll see the Reunification Palace, the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office, and the Ben Thanh market. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
