“Cuc Phuong Spring Festival 2021” with the theme “Adding green to the old forest” organized by Cuc Phuong National Park for the first time which is taken place at Mac Lake. These series of events promise to be a new choice for tourists besides famous tourist destinations such as Trang An – Bai Dinh, etc.

The highlight of the Spring Festival is the “The Beast of Cuc Phuong” with a butterfly-shaped design model, with a scale of nearly 3,000 m2. All are built from friendly materials such as bamboo and recyclables. The 5 sections of the maze are 5 different themes, inspired by the jungle. Inside the decoration is arranged mainly by images which affects directly the viewer vision.

Mr. Do Hong Hai, Deputy Director of Center for Environmental Education and Services Cuc Phuong National Park, said that the preparation work is gradually completed. To ensure the prevention of Covid-19, the inspection team will be arranged from the entrance, measuring body temperature and disinfecting visitors.

On February 4, the Cuc Phuong spring festival will hold folk games such as: throwing, swinging, seesaw, stilts, so visitors have the opportunity to explore the characteristics of the Muong ethnic group with Worshiping ceremony for Mr. Mo, the traditional tree building ceremony or wrapping Chung cake.

Visitors coming here can write their wishes and hang up the Tree of Wishes. After Tet, trees will be placed at the Park Visitor Center for visitors to continue visiting.

On February 14-15, Workshop “Many colors – One love” organized by the Drawing Group of Hanoi Urban Heritage will be held to compose a large-format picture, carry the message of protecting Cuc Phuong nature. The evening is a fashion gala with recycled materials bearing the message of environmental protection.

To complete the trip, visitors can visit the spring festival in the morning. Furthermore, in the afternoon visitors can see more spots such as the pangolin and turtle conservation center; Botanical Garden; Old Man Cave; Cuc Phuong Museum, etc.

If departing from Hanoi, you should go from 5 am. Go towards the highway Hanoi – Ninh Binh. If you want to stay overnight, you can sign up for tours organized by Cuc Phuong National Park. The cost is from 500.000 – 1.000.000 VND.
