Since 1877, Sapporo Beer has been made in Sapporo and is currently manufactured and marketed all over the world. Its beer is a wonderful complement for the local food representing Hokkaido, and it has also become one of Hokkaido’s famous items.

The Sapporo Beer Museum, Japan’s only beer museum, is located in the Sapporo Garden Park in Higashi-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.

The building that currently houses the Sapporo Beer Museum was planned and built by foreign engineers in 1890 as the Sapporo Sugar Company’s factory.
