Your driver and guide will meet you at your hotel and transport you to Mai Chau, a tiny village set in the center of a verdant valley surrounded by emerald-green rice fields. Enjoy breathtaking views of the gorgeous countryside, which is dotted with pagodas and rural settlements. Visit the Muong tribe along the road, and then stop at Thung Khe Pass for a breathtaking view of Mai Chau Valley. Enjoy a traditional White Thai Tribe meal with a local family and some free time to get to know the folks.
On our trip to the Pom Coong and Na Phon villages in the afternoon, we will stroll through terraced rice terraces and tiny towns, exploring the natural beauty of the valley and learning about the lifestyle of the ethnic minority Thai people. Return to our homestay to assist in the preparation of the evening meal. As you assist the family in preparing a traditional supper, you will get the opportunity to learn about the local food and culture. Enjoy a live dance and music performance in the evening.
