Coming to Shangrila – a name that is not unfamiliar to anyone who has read the novel Lost Horizon by writer James Hilton, it is a valley located in Northwestern Yunnan province, China, near with Tibet.

The group has lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, the group continued to visit:

• Visit Songzanlin Monastery which is the most important and largest Tibetan Tantric Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, China. Songzanlin is set in a stunning landscape at an altitude of over 3,300m 5km from Shangrila. This monastery was built by the 5th Dalai Lama in 1679 according to a miniature prototype of the Potala palace (Tibet) and was completed after 2 years of construction. During the most prosperous times, thousands of monks gathered here.
• DuKeZong Ancient Citadel – The oldest living place of Tibetan people over 1,300 years old and the best preserved in China. Coming here, visitors will admire hundreds of carefully preserved ancient Tibetan-style houses, with hospitable Tibetan people introducing their unique cultural features, daily lifestyle and enthusiastically helping them help.

• PuDaCuo National Park, Pudacuo National Park, Shangri-la, Yunnan: Nature in Shangri-La deserves to be called a fairyland with snow-white high mountain landscapes and green forests. Golden sunshine, sometimes hidden in smog with an extremely rich flora and fauna system. Pudacuo is the first national park in China to meet the standards established by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). One of China’s 40 beautiful landscapes. Pudacuo is a paradise for photography lovers. The scenery here is different in all four seasons. In spring, hundreds of flowers bloom here. Summer is a blue color that covers the entire mountain. Autumn is an extremely splendid scene of dense forests. In winter, visitors can enjoy the sight of white snow under the blue lake surface.

• Visit Lijiang Ancient Citadel – The ancient citadel was built at the end of the Song Dynasty more than 800 years ago, located on the Van Quy plateau, at an altitude of 2,400m above sea level, the houses here have unique architecture mixed with Mixing Han, Bach, and Tibetan combined with the traditional style of the indigenous Naxi people. Not only that, Lijiang is also the bustling commercial center of the legendary Tra Ma Co Dao road, where merchants exchanged Tibetan horses for Chinese Tea.
