After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Dong Van. Along the way, stop at the scenic Tham Ma Pass before visiting Sung La Village, home to traditional H’Mong earthen houses. The village served as the filming location for the award-winning Vietnamese movie The Story of Pao (2006), directed by Ngo Quang Hai and adapted from the short story The Sound of the Lip Lute Behind the Stone Fence by Do Bich Thuy.

After lunch, continue to visit:

• Vuong Family Mansion (H’Mong King’s Palace), located in Sa Phin Valley. This impressive residence belonged to the influential Vuong family, the most powerful H’Mong clan in the Dong Van region during the early 20th century.
• Lung Cu Flag Tower, Vietnam’s northernmost landmark and a symbol of national sovereignty. Guests will have the opportunity to admire and photograph the beautiful seasonal buckwheat flower fields surrounding the area.

Afternoon:
Travel along the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, widely regarded as the most breathtaking section of the famous Happiness Road. Stop to admire the magnificent Ma Pi Leng Canyon, where towering cliffs plunge approximately 800–1,000 meters, creating one of Vietnam’s deepest mountain gorges.

Continue with an optional boat trip on the Nho Que River through the spectacular Tu San Canyon, renowned as one of the most impressive limestone canyons in Southeast Asia. The emerald-green river, dramatic cliffs, and breathtaking scenery provide exceptional photo opportunities.

Standing approximately 53 meters high and cascading over three impressive tiers, Ban Gioc is the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia and ranks among the world’s most magnificent border waterfalls, lying on the frontier between Vietnam and China.
