The group arrived at Gonggar airport, Lhasa. The car and local tour guide pick up the group and take them to check in and have time to adapt to the altitude in Lhasa. The group will have free time to visit around the capital Lhasa.

After breakfast at the hotel, the group began the journey to explore the capital city of Lhasa, starting with a visit to the Potala Palace, located on top of the Red Hill.

The 170m high Potala Palace is the most massive and magnificent of all palace structures in Tibet. Potala was built by King Tung Tan Gan Bo in 637 AD as a landmark marking the marriage between him and Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty.

This architectural building existed until the 17th century when it was rebuilt by the 5th Dalai Lama.

Yokhang Monastery. For Tibetans, this is the holiest temple in the country and is where the largest Tibetan Dai Chieu Temple festival takes place. The temple was built by King Tung Tan Can Bo in the 7th century (647) when this dynasty was at its most prosperous.

• Drepung Monastery – The largest monastery in Lhasa. Drepung Monastery is located at the foot of Gambo Utse mountain, about 5 km from Lhasa city center. It is one of the three largest and most important Gelug Monasteries in Tibet, along with Sera and Ganden monasteries. Spread out on the hillside of Mount Gambo Utse, the monastery can be seen from afar, its beautiful white buildings standing out against the majestic mountain backdrop.

• Tashilhunpo Monastery, located on top of Drolmari Hill (in the Tara Mountains), in the center of Shigatse City. The group landed at Jiangbei airport, Chongqing. The car and tour guide picked up the group and took them to lunch. After lunch, the group visited:

• Ciqikou Ancient Town – a thousand year old ancient town originally known as Longyin Town, is a miniature image of Chongqing, this is an ancient Chinese town with traditional style buildings and local flavorful food , today is Chongqing’s bustling shopping paradise.
• Hong Ngan Dong – Located in the central business district of Chongqing city, is the riverbank point connecting the Yangtze River and Jialing River, this is a landscape that combines urban commerce and traditional house architecture. Hanging along the cliff next to the river, visitors can visit the architecture of hanging houses, admire the blue landscape of Hong Ngan, and walk on the streets of Son Thanh.

The group has breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, the group went to the airport to catch the flight back to Hanoi
