Zhangjiajie is located in the northwest of Hunan Province, between the elevated areas of the Yunnan and Guizhou plateaus. It boasts the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, and the Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area, among others. Zhangjiajie is often described as a “fairyland on earth,” with over 3,000 sandstone pillars and cliffs of ever-changing shapes, many towering over 300 meters high. This is why it was the inspiration for the filming locations in the world-famous 3D blockbuster movie, AVATAR… Fenghuang is the name of an ancient town in the Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in western Hunan Province, approximately 280 km from Zhangjiajie City. Fenghuang Town is the economic, political, and social center of the region. Located beside the Da Jiang River, the ancient town still preserves many city walls, streets, ancient houses, mansions, Confucian temples, and pagodas. Schedule
6:00 PM: Vietnamese tour guide will meet guests at the designated meeting point and transfer them to Noi Bai International Airport Terminal T2 for check-in procedures for flight CZ8360 (21:10/00:20) from Hanoi to Changsha. After immigration, the tour guide will meet the group and transfer them to the hotel for rest. Overnight stay at a hotel in Changsha.
