Two Vietnamese hotels make Tripadvisor readers world’s top 10 list
Two Vietnamese hotels are in a global list of top 10 chosen by readers of American online travel agency Tripadvisor.
La Siesta Hoi An Resort & Spa in Hoi An ranks third and La Siesta Classic Ma May Hotel in Hanoi is seventh.
Situated a kilometer from the iconic Japanese Pagoda Bridge, the Hoi An resort has 137 guestrooms, suites and villas.
All the rooms are painted yellow and the buildings have old red tiled roofs, a distinctive feature of Hoi An.
It also has four swimming pools surrounded by green trees and provides free bus services for guests to visit An Bang Beach.
A double room costs from VND1.8 million ($71) per night.
Located in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter near Hoan Kiem (Sword) Lake, La Siesta Classic Ma May has 75 guestrooms and suites.
It has a sky bar on the rooftop floor that offers panoramic views of the city.

Hotel Colline de France in Brazil was named as the world’s best, followed by Oblu Select Lobigili in the Maldives.
To compile the list, Tripadvisor analyzed traveler reviews and ratings posted on its website through 2023.
“Each of the world’s best hotels caters to the traveler looking for accessible luxury and unique, tailored experiences,” Dan Mitchell, vice president and general manager, hotels, at Tripadvisor, said.
