Schedule

DAY 1: HANOI – KAOHSIUNG: FORMOSA BOULEVARD STATION (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

04:00: The company’s vehicle and tour guide pick up the group at the designated meeting point and depart for Noi Bai Airport to catch the flight to Kaohsiung—a major, bustling city in Taiwan (VN582, 07:30–10:50). Breakfast is served on board. Upon landing at Kaohsiung Airport, the group completes immigration procedures.
11:30: The group is transferred to a restaurant for lunch.
In the afternoon, the group visits:
Lotus Pond: An area renowned for its abundant lotus flowers; it was listed among the “Eight Scenic Spots of Fengshan” during the Qing Dynasty and is poetically known as “Lotus Fragrance on Dreamy Waters.”
Here, the group visits the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas: Considered some of the most architecturally beautiful structures in Taiwan. The site features two main seven-story towers—the Dragon Tower and the Tiger Tower. Their entrances are uniquely designed: one shaped like a dragon’s mouth and the other like a tiger’s mouth. Entering through the dragon and exiting through the tiger symbolizes good fortune, prosperity, and luck.
Spring and Autumn Pavilions: Located just 700 meters from the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, this is a Taoist site dedicated to Guan Yu (Guan Gong), the God of War. Built in 1951 and associated with the nearby Qiming Temple, the complex features two prominent structures: the Spring and Autumn Pavilions, along with statues of Guanyin (the Bodhisattva of Compassion) and Guan Yu.
The group visits Formosa Boulevard Station: Currently the world’s largest domed station, it has repeatedly been voted one of the most beautiful subway stations globally. The “Dome of Light” features a stunning art installation composed of 4,500 glass panels, holding the record for the world’s largest work of public art made from individual glass pieces. (Experience a subway ride to Liuhe Night Market.)
The group will enjoy a steak dinner at a restaurant before returning to the hotel to check in and rest.
Evening: Overnight stay at a hotel in Kaohsiung or Chiayi.
