Schedule
04:00: Our coach and tour guide pick up the group at the Central Circus, Tran Nhan Tong Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi, and depart for Paksan, Bolikhamxay Province, Laos.
The group stops for breakfast at a local restaurant along the way. (Breakfast is at guests’ own expense.)
12:00: Have lunch at Pho Chau Restaurant, Nghe An. Continue the journey along National Highway 8A, with an opportunity to admire the majestic Truong Son Mountain Range, which also forms the natural border between Vietnam and Laos.
14:30: Complete immigration procedures at Cau Treo Border Gate (Vietnam) and Nam Phao Border Gate (Laos).
18:30: Enjoy the first dinner in Laos at Thang Beng Junction.
Around 21:00: Arrive in Paksan. Check in at the hotel. Overnight in Paksan.
Price included
- Air-conditioned coach of good quality throughout the tour, depending on the group size.
- One-way high-speed train ticket from Vientiane to Luang Prabang.
- 3-star standard hotels in Laos (2 guests per room; in case of an odd number of male or female guests, 3 guests may share one room).
- Vientiane: Duongprasot ***, Laongdao *** or equivalent
- Paksan: Sounathan Hotel *** or equivalent
- Luang Prabang: Sokphankham ** or equivalent
- Xieng Khouang: Xiengkhouang ***, MaLy *** or equivalent
- 12 main meals: in Vietnam – VND 150,000 per person/meal; in Laos – USD 6 per person/meal.
- Breakfast: 1 breakfast at a restaurant at VND 50,000 per person, plus 5 breakfasts at the hotels.
- Entrance fees to attractions as specified in the itinerary.
- Experienced and enthusiastic Vietnamese-speaking tour guide throughout the tour.
- Drinking water: 1 bottle/person/day.
- Wet towel: 1 towel/person/day.
- Travel insurance with maximum coverage of VND 200,000,000 per claim/event.
Price excluded
- Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months).
- Tips for the driver and tour guide: approximately USD 5/person/day.
- Personal expenses such as telephone calls, laundry, minibar, and beverages (beer, wine, soft drinks, etc.) during meals.
- Guests holding nationalities other than those of Southeast Asian countries.
Child policy
CHILDREN’S POLICY:
- Children under 2 years old: VND 1,000,000/person. Meals are shared with adults and accommodation is shared with parents.
- Children from 2 to 9 years old: 85% of the adult tour price (same meal arrangement as adults; sharing a room with parents).
- Children aged 10 and above: Charged at the adult rate.
Cancellation/ Booking Policy
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- If the group has fewer than 10 guests, Party B will arrange a new departure date and notify Party A at least 5 working days in advance. If Party A is unable to travel on the new departure date, Party B will refund the deposit paid by Party A.
- If Party B is unable to operate the tour as scheduled due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, storms, floods, or war, Party B will arrange a new departure date. Any additional costs will be mutually agreed upon by both parties.
- Guests aged 70 to under 75 are required to sign a health declaration with the company. Guests aged 75 and above must provide a medical certificate confirming that they are fit to travel abroad, together with a health declaration signed with the company. Guests are encouraged to travel with a relative under 60 years old who is in good health. Guests over 75 are also encouraged to purchase additional premium travel insurance (fees vary depending on the tour). Guests aged 80 and above are not accepted.
- Pregnant guests are requested to inform the tour consultant at the time of booking for further advice. Pregnant guests from 5 months onward are not accepted for safety reasons.
- Foreign nationals holding a single-entry visa to Vietnam are responsible for the cost of obtaining a visa for re-entry into Vietnam.
- Overseas Vietnamese or foreign nationals holding a visa that requires exit/re-entry procedures must bring the relevant visa documents with them during the tour.
- When booking the tour, guests are requested to carefully read the itinerary, tour price, included and excluded services, and tour cancellation conditions stated on the payment receipt. If the tour is booked by another person on the guest’s behalf, the guest should obtain and carefully review all tour information from the person making the booking.
- Depending on actual circumstances, the order of sightseeing attractions may be changed while ensuring that all attractions specified in the original itinerary are included.
Focus Asia Travel shall not be responsible for guaranteeing sightseeing services in the event of:
+ Natural disasters: storms, floods, droughts, earthquakes, etc.
+ Security incidents: terrorism, demonstrations, civil unrest, etc.
+ Aviation-related incidents: technical problems, security issues, flight rescheduling, cancellation, or delays.
- In the event of any of the above circumstances, Focus Asia Travel will consider refunding the cost of unused sightseeing services where possible, after deducting the costs of services already provided, such as visa processing fees. Let’s Go Laos shall not be responsible for any additional compensation or other related expenses.
