YEHLIU GEOPARK – An exciting destination where visitors can admire nature’s most vivid sculptures, such as the Queen’s Head, Dragon’s Head, and rocks resembling candles and ice cream cones. The rock formations at Yehliu Geopark were created by erosion, pitting, and grooving caused by wave action on the rock surface over a long period. The Yehliu rock area is divided into three sections, each featuring a unique array of rock formations.

Shifen Old Street – a popular spot for releasing sky lanterns, featuring a distinctively Chinese style with high-hanging red lanterns and numerous eateries and teahouses. Beyond purchasing ready-made lanterns, visitors can buy paper to design their own, write down their wishes, and release them into the sky. After sending off your wishes, take a moment to savor local highland tea and rustic snacks while enjoying the natural beauty and the area’s leisurely pace of life (sky lantern included – 1 lantern per 4 guests).

Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall – Chiang Kai-shek served as the supreme commander of the war zones during the resistance against Japan. During World War II, alongside Allied leaders such as British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt, he was one of the key leaders opposing fascism. The memorial features a roof modeled after the Temple of Heaven in Beijing and a body resembling the Egyptian pyramids, creating a majestic and solemn appearance.
· Taipei 101 – The tallest building and a symbol of Taipei City; enjoy shopping for world-famous fashion and cosmetic brands. (Cost of ascending to the observatory is not included.)
Pixiu Feng Shui Center – Visit and learn about Chinese Feng Shui principles; admire unique craftsmanship featuring the *Pixiu* (a mythical creature), considered the premier Feng Shui symbol for attracting wealth and good fortune.
Visit and participate in a pineapple cake-making class to handcraft delicious, specialty pineapple cakes and enjoy a fun-filled baking experience.

Afternoon: The group continues to tour Taichung City.
National Taichung Theater – Designed by architect Toyo Ito, the design draws inspiration from the caves and pit dwellings of prehistoric humans, resulting in a unique structure featuring curved walls and sloping surfaces—a one-of-a-kind architectural marvel globally. Due to its incredibly complex construction process, it has been honored by international media as one of the “9 New Icons of the World.” The group enjoys a Shabu-shabu hotpot dinner featuring a selection of over 150 dishes.
Afterwards, the group checks into the hotel to rest. In the evening, there is free time to visit Fengjia Night Market—the largest night market in Taichung.

Sun Moon Lake: Taiwan’s largest natural lake, surrounded by lush, refreshing nature; it was a favorite retreat for Chiang Kai-shek. Here, the group will take a boat cruise on the lake and immerse themselves in the stunning scenery.
Wenwu Temple: Situated on the banks of the picturesque Sun Moon Lake, this temple—built in 1938—features red stone lions guarding the magnificent, spiritually significant structure.

Lingzhi (Reishi Mushroom) Research Center: Learn about how the Thao indigenous people harvest Lingzhi mushrooms in the Alishan mountain range.
Hinoki Village: Built to perfectly recreate traditional Japanese architecture and atmosphere, this destination is located in the East District of Chiayi City. It is Taiwan’s first forest-themed cultural and creative park. The name “Hinoki” comes from the Taiwanese cypress (hinoki), a rare tree species with fragrant wood that is prized in both Japan and Taiwan. Tea shop: Enjoy Oolong tea – a local specialty.
The group travels to Kaohsiung City.

Free time for dinner and culinary exploration at Liuhe Night Market – the most famous and bustling night market in Kaohsiung.

Visit Formosa Boulevard Station: Currently the world’s largest dome-shaped metro station, it has frequently been voted one of the most beautiful subway stations globally. The “Dome of Light” features a design composed of 4,500 glass panels, making it the largest public art installation made of individual glass pieces in the world.
Lotus Pond: Famous for the lotus flowers blooming along its shores, this area was listed among the “Eight Scenic Spots of Fengshan” during the Qing Dynasty and is poetically known as “Lotus Fragrance on Dreamy Waters.”
Here, the group visits the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, renowned for having some of the most beautiful architecture in Taiwan. The site features two main seven-story towers—the Dragon Pagoda and the Tiger Pagoda—with uniquely designed entrances shaped like the heads of a dragon and a tiger; entering through the dragon’s mouth and exiting through the tiger’s mouth symbolizes good fortune, prosperity, and luck.
Fo Guang Shan: Here, visitors can admire the “Fo Guang Big Buddha,” the tallest Buddha statue in the world and a must-visit destination for travelers. Completed in 2011, Fo Guang Shan serves as a major gathering place for Buddhists. The towering statue stands out against the blue sky with a benevolent smile; it is currently the world’s tallest bronze Buddha statue. The core treasure housed within the Buddha Memorial Center is a rare Buddha tooth relic. In addition to the main hall, the complex features a permanent museum and exhibition spaces, with a capacity of over 2,000 people for offerings, worship, artistic performances, and international conferences.
