The boat sets out for a cruise around the Bay. Start getting acquainted with the onboard amenities. In the kitchen, a delectable buffet lunch with a feast of options is served. Allow your eyes to roam around the landscape as you enjoy your first hours in Halong Bay on the sun deck.
We arrive in the vicinity of the Cua Van floating fishing settlement. From here, we begin our exploration of Tien Ong Cave and the floating fishing village. Tien Ong is the most recent cave to be discovered. It displays signs of human culture dated from 10,000 to 8,000 BC. The cave is just 5 meters above sea level, 50 meters wide, and 1,000 square meters in size. Our guide leads you on a tour of the cave, explaining the past discoveries and the cave’s unique features.
The journey to the fishing village begins. We drive about in the tranquil sea of this secluded area in a small bamboo boat rowed by locals, gaining insight into village life.
After returning to the boat, we sail to the Luom Bo overnight mooring area. During this time, Halong Bay shows its most majestic elegance, which we refer to as the “blue hour.” Relax on the sun deck with a drink of your choosing and take in the moment. During the sailing, our Chef also shows the preparation of specific Vietnamese dishes. You are welcome to enter and train on your own.
Dinner is served either à la carte or buffet-style in the kitchen. Following that, the night is yours to sit back and abundantly appreciate these one-of-a-kind moments amidst a surreal landscape. After dinner, a presentation in our dining area with additional fascinating information and perspectives on Halong Bay is also available.
