Explore one of Halong Bay’s biggest and most breathtaking caves. Nothing beats free kayaking on the vast sea and discovering the natural wonders of many Islets. You will also have the opportunity to participate in our Cooking class, where you will be challenged to prepare a very famous Vietnamese dish – Spring roll.
09h00 – 09h30: You will be picked up from the Hanoi Old Quarter and driven for approximately 2 hours on the new highway to Got Ferry Terminal – Cat Hai Town, Haiphong City (transportation is on request with an additional surcharge).
12h15: Move to the Orchid Cruise by tender.
12:30 p.m.: Welcome to the Orchid Cruise. Enjoy a Welcome Drink before receiving your cruise briefing, safety directions, and checking in. Begin your cruise and exploration of Halong Bay, one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
13h00: The cruise continues to Da Chong islet, where a lighthouse constructed by the French over 100 years ago can be seen. Enjoy an international buffet lunch while going through the Con Vit area’s islets. These incredible limestone karst formations emerge majestically from the sea. This area is unaffected since few cruise ships use the route through Cat Ba Island – Thoi Quyt area – Coc Ngoi islet – Gia Luan area, which is part of Cat Ba National Park.
14h15: Travel by bus to Trung Trang cave on Cat Ba Island, which is situated in the heart of Cat Ba National Park and home to the Kim Giao forest.
Trung Trang Valley is Cat Ba Island’s main valley. The valley is approximately 300 hectares in size, has a depth of 10m to 30m, and is located approximately 15 kilometers from the center of Cat Ba National Park. Trung Trang Cave is 300m long and runs through the mountains. Nature carved the cave more than 2,000 years ago. The cave contains several stalactites that take on different forms, aweing and inspiring people to use their imagination.
17h45: Return to the cruise and enjoy the spectacular sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. You should take a conventional cooking lesson on board. The cruise’s chef will teach you how to prepare certain traditional Vietnamese dishes.

19:30: The sumptuous Candlelight Deluxe Dinner Set Menu. Orchid Cruise’s fantastic onboard dining team will cook and serve you tasty local cuisine. This is a delicious meal in a cozy, romantic atmosphere.
21h30: Upon the top deck, take in the nighttime scenery of the harbor. Relax while sipping a beer from the lounge. Try your hand at squid fishing at night or watching a movie in a pub. Overnight stay on track.
