DAY 1: HANOI - DUONG LAM ANCIENT VILLAGE - MAI CHAU VALLEY (L,D) |
We will greet the new day with a departure to Duong Lam located 60km in Northern the Red River Delta from Hanoi. Ride bike in the ancient village Duong Lam is the pregnant place of many preserved old houses. Once you come here, Mong Phu communal house dated back to 17th century is an indispensable subject to explore. If you would like to learn more about the life here, meet the people in their ancient house and talk or visit a workshop for self-made soya sauce.
You will be served with a lunch in a local house and take a short rest. In the afternoon, we depart a 3-hour journey to a scenic  road; pass away mountains and valleys to Mai Chau town.
As you come here, you will see a very beautiful valley. This place has been home of White Thai tribe for several centuries. They live on stilt houses near rive fields and streams linking with a close-knit community life and many lovely age-old traditions.
When we arrive in Mai Chau in the late afternoon, we will check into your hotel. After freshen up, you will be served with a dinner in a traditional stilts house while savouring a particular performance by locals of ethnic minority Muong and Thai people. Overnight at the homestay-place/ the hotel.

Child policy

  • Children from 5 years old and below are free, parents take care of them.
  • Children from 05 to under 10 years old are charged 50% of the adult tour price. Eating standard is as ½ as an adult meal, sitting 1 car seat, sleep with parents.
  • Children from 10 years old and above are counted as adults.

Cancellation/ Booking Policy

  • Cancellation after booking: 20% cancellation fee of tour price
  • Cancellation 15 days before departure date: 50% cancellation fee of tour price
  • Cancellation 5-15 days before departure date: cancellation fee 70% of tour price
  • Cancellation 3-5 days before departure: cancellation fee 90% of tour price
  • Cancellation within 3 days before departure date: 100% cancellation fee
  • (Time is calculated in working days, excluding Saturday and Sunday. In case you cannot go to the tour, please notify the company and confirm in writing)
