Da Nang International Airport
Da Nang International Airport is the largest airport in the Central region – Central Highlands of Vietnam. It located in Hai Chau district, 3 km from Da Nang city center. The total area of airport area is 842 hectares, in which the area of civil aviation is 150 hectares. This is an important flight point of central Vietnam and the whole country.
Danang International Airport is one of the three busiest international airports in Vietnam, only after Noi Bai International Airport and Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Being a key airport in service of domestic and international air traffic for Da Nang city and neighboring provinces, this is the destination of more than 100 domestic and international flights. With about 10,000 visitors through each day. Da Nang Airport is located in Hai Chau district, 1km east of Danang city center.
Da Nang International Airport has two runways for landing which is equipped with signal light system including precision landing and navigation aids systems (ILS, DVOR \ DME, NDB), modern primary – secondary radar systems, advanced meteorological monitoring and broadcasting systems, emergency standing systems, modern parking systems … capable of serving large commercial aircraft such as Boeing 747, Boeing 777, AN-124, MD-11 and take off in all weather conditions.
