Victoria Phan Thiet Beach Resort & Spa review — One of the best resorts in Mui Ne
The Victoria Phan Thiet, located in what is regarded as Vietnam’s “resort capital,” is well-loved and picked as an ideal spot to visit for its charming thatched-roof bungalows, stunning swimming pools, and the restored beach that uses environmentally friendly Geotube technology. The Victoria Phan Thiet Resort has undergone a dramatic transformation that has astounded all visitors.
In April 2015, the Victoria Phan Thiet Resort launched a large-scale restoration project to protect the beach from the impacts of natural erosion caused by the action of waves and tropical storms. In early December 2015, the project was completed, with over 50 meters of Geotube breakwater extending down the shore.

This one-of-a-kind technique allows animals and plants to grow naturally, ensuring Victoria’s chain of hotels and resorts’ goal of environmental stewardship. The project’s last phase was completed after more than 10.000m3 of sand was used to overlay sand for the beach.
Sébastien Rodriguez, the director of Victoria Phan Thiet Resort, stated, “Victoria Phan Thiet is really happy about the completion of the Geotube project.” We appreciate our customers’ patience throughout the building period, but we’re excited to take full use of our brand new, gorgeous beach just in time for the Christmas season.”
“Since the beginning of December, our hotel has been ready for the upcoming holiday season with entertaining and relaxing activities on the new shore.” he shared.
Along with the newly renovated beach, water sports including kayaking and paddleboarding have already been re-introduced.
The resort intends to construct a fresh new beach bar with tables immediately on the beach, as well as a children’s playground area. Early in the new year, morning yoga sessions by the sea and new outdoor seats are also planned.
Victoria Phan Thiet Beach Resort & Spa, which opened in April 1997, is located on a magnificent length of beachfront along the Phan Thiet – Mui Ne strip. The resort’s 57 large thatched roof bungalows offer direct access to the beach and are built on 7 luscious hectares of botanical gardens with an orchid plantation, two swimming pools including an Infinity Pool overlooking the sea, and a Kids’ Club with pony rides for the youngsters.
Each bungalow is tastefully and lavishly equipped in the manner of traditional Vietnamese country houses, with teak furniture, a big bathroom with shower inside and outdoors, providing a quiet ambience in the windy space with fresh air from the sea.
Romantic thatched roof bungalows set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, allowing it to merge harmoniously with its surroundings.
Aside from the stunning tropical landscapes, Victoria Phan Thiet Resort also has the most magnificent Infinity pool in the Victoria hotel network. At midday, the blue lake reflects the gleaming sunshine reaching out to sea, lending a distinct beauty.
Furthermore, while staying at the Victoria Phan Thiet, you may easily participate in exciting excursions such as viewing the sunset atop Cham towers, exploring Tien stream, or seeing breathtaking dunes.
So, Victoria Phan Thiet could be your dream destination in Vietnam if what you want is a peaceful holiday in an elegant, cozy, and reasonable resort.
