After breakfast, our tour guide and driver will meet you at your Pleiku hotel. Visit the natural lake of T’nung, which is located on the crater of a million-year-old volcano. Continue on to Dektu and Dekrol villages for sightseeing and learning about Banar culture, including the Rong house, which serves as the center of community cultural and ceremonial life. You will visit a Banar graveyard where wooden figures, gongs, wine jars, and other family heirlooms are displayed at the funeral home. You will get the opportunity to see a Gong performance in this village, which is a traditional Banar culture. Return to the city for lunch.
In the afternoon, go to the Gia Lai Museum of Ethnology to discover more about the Bahnar and Jarai cultures. Continue on to Pleiku’s former jail, Minh Thanh pagoda, Immaculate Conception Cathedral (or Kon Tum Cathedral), and Pleiku’s local market. The trip concludes with a transfer back to your accommodation.
