Schedule
Starting early in the morning from your hotel, your driver and guide will take you to the fishing harbor to watch the locals purchasing and selling seafood at daybreak.
Then you’ll go to the Po Klong Garai temple, which was established by the famous King Jaya Sinhavarman III in honor of the mythical king Po Klaung Garai, who reigned Panduranga from 1151 to 1205. It is currently a more than 700-year-old Cham Temple that is still in use (visit in October to observe the Kate Festival) and well-maintained. Because it is placed on the summit of Trau Hill, you can have a panoramic view of the city from this temple.

The next destination is a local grape garden, where visitors may watch how grapes are grown and grape wine or grape juice is made. From here, you will go to Bau Truc Pottery Hamlet, Vietnam’s and arguably Southeast Asia’s oldest existing pottery village, to learn how to produce pottery.
After lunch at a local restaurant, your tour will continue with a visit to the Ca Na salt field, Vietnam’s largest salt farm (suitable time for visiting this salt field is from Dec to Sept). You will get the opportunity to listen to farmers explain their salt-making experiences.
Return to your hotel.
