According to records, since the early days, La Han Soc Trang pagoda was built in 1952 as just a leaf house, with board walls. In 1956, a storm passed, causing severe damage to the temple. After that, the people rebuilt the pagoda with bricks and tiles. By 1990, residents and Buddhists everywhere contributed to rebuild a new and more spacious temple. The structure of the pagoda includes a ground floor and the campus is large and beautiful.

In which, the area upstairs is the place to worship Buddha Shakyamuni, Thai Thuong Lao Quan, Chu Bodhisattva and Thap Bat La Han.
