Dalat Golden Stream
Dalat Golden Stream is a famous scenic spot in Lam Dong province, Vietnam. The stream is located in Lac Duong district, 20 km north of Da Lat city. It consists of two streams: Dankia and Ankroet. These two lakes are created by two dams of the same name Ankroet blocking Da Dung River, which originates from Langbiang Mountain. This is the largest freshwater stream in Da Lat with a capacity of about 20 million cubic meters of water, which is the source of domestic water for Dalat city.
From the center of Dalat to Dalat Golden Stream is about 20km. Known 100 years ago,it has persistently accompanied the lives of Dalat people. This stream provides both for hydroelectric plants and domestic water.
Golden Stream is also a fresh space with a poetic landscape that is able to strangely hold visitors’ footsteps. It consisting of Lake Dankia at the top and Ankroet at the bottom. Around the stream are green pine forests. The scene here is like a beautiful landscape pictured. The more you see it, the more you feel overwhelmed.
