Da Lat cable car
The Dalat cable car is located on Robin Hill with an altitude of 1,517m above sea level. It turns toward the southwest pass 2.267m mountains and rolling pine forest. Tourists can enjoy the feeling of being immersed in nature. Furthermore, you can see the vast mountains, forests and blooming flower gardens. Visitors can also admire the villas built basing on the Western architecture.
This Dalat cable car system was started construction on February 3, 2002 and inaugurated on January 24, 2003. It is officially put into operation on February 1, 2003. This cabling system is designed, manufactured and installed by Doppelmayr of Switzerland and Austria. The project is compared to 50 colorful automatic cabins with a maximum capacity of 900 times / hour. Visitors can enjoy the majestic Central Highlands mountains and panoramic views of Da Lat city and fly on the pine forests, enjoy the coolness of Dalat .
On Rôbin hill (15,000m2 wide), a 7.500m2- station is equipped with a modern cable separation system according to a rail line so that the cabin can stop for guests to get on and off. Visitors can also enjoy the restaurant’s Da Lat flavored dishes at the departure station. At the arrival station, guests will visit Truc Lam Zen Monastery – Tuyen Lam Lake and enjoy vegetarian rice. Especially, Dalat Cable Car has brought to visitors the program “Coffee feeling on cable at night”.
Da Lat cable car has contributed to creating the attraction for this city. This is also one of the famous tourist destinations in Da Lat, attracting both domestic and foreign visitors.
