Nha Trang (Cam Ranh International Airport) is the main airport serving the Nha Trang area. The airport is located in Cam Ranh, a town in the Khanh Hoa province in Vietnam. Cam Ranh Airport is 30km from Nha Trang . Airport runway has a length of 3,050m.
Cam Ranh Airport
It was built by the US military. This was used as a US Air Force base during the war. In 1973, after the Paris Agreement, the US handed this base to the Republic of Vietnam Air Force.

After 1975, Cam Ranh airport continued to be used for military purposes until 2004. On May 19, 2004, Cam Ranh airport received the first flight, flying from Hanoi to replace the airport. Nha Trang is located in the inner city of a limited area and for safety reasons.

The number of passengers passing through this airport reached 1.5 million in 2010. At the end of 2009, the terminal was completed and could serve 800 passengers during peak hours.
