In particular, the Kho Gia Gia festival is known as a long-standing cultural feature of the Ha Nhi people, with the purpose of praying for crops and rain. Thanks to its unique characteristics, this festival was recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage on December 19, 2014, belonging to the category of traditional festivals.

The festival takes place from the Dragon day to the Monkey day of the 6th lunar month every year, not only to pray for good harvests and favorable weather.
