Welcome to Ho Chi Minh! On arrival you will take a light afternoon trek through the forest to visit the bear rehabilitation center. This facility has been established by Wildlife at Risk (a local NGO) who take bears that have been captured for the bile market or pet trade. It is hoped that after a time in the holding enclose that some of the endemic bears can be released back into the forest. In the late afternoon return to the lodge where dinner will be served that evening.

Overnight at Forest Floor Lodge Cat Tien National Park

Rise this morning and take a trek to Crocodile Lake, spotting varieties of bird life and if you are lucky the Siamese crocodile on route. These crocodiles are critically endangered and this is one of the last places in the world that you can still see them in the wild. Return to the lodge then in the afternoon take a boat trip along the Ben Cu River to view wildlife on the riverbank. Return to the lodge then take a night drive into the park using a spotlight to view nocturnal wildlife.

Overnight at Forest Floor Lodge Cat Tien National Park.

After a leisurely breakfast visit the Dao Tien Endangered Primate Species Centre. The aim of the Centre is to rescue and rehabilitate endangered primates and when appropriate release the rehabilitated pairs of gibbons back into the forests of Cat Tien National Park.

Return to the lodge before taking the 4-hour drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
