A GENTLE CYCLING MY THO & BEN TRE TOUR

Our one day private cruise excursion starts from Ho Chi Minh with a drive to My Tho where we will board the boat at around 10.00AM. The tour will start with the visit of vibrant upper Mekong River. We will be proceed by the visit of some local home factories such as rice paste making, rice pop corn, coco candies,…

We are met by a driver at the lobby of the hotel; then transfer to Mekong Delta. We meet our local tour guide at Mekong Rest stop and start cycling around the villages and Gao market. We can enjoy some local cakes and continue cycling along the village lanes to endless rice paddy fields in My Tho.

Visiting Rice Husking Mill, Rice Vermicelli making workshop, “hủ tiếu” workshop (noodle with seasoned and sauté beef)… specialties of My Tho.

Visiting Vinh Trang Pagoda, the biggest pagoda of Tien Giang province, which was built in 1989 with more than 60 valued Buddha statues.

Then we go back to My Tho boat pier and boating to coconut Ben Tre region for our lunch.

In the afternoon, we will visit traditional coconut candy workshop; then boat to Thoi Son Island to explore bee gardens where the farmers here keep bees for honey…

We also take sampan along the small channels with water coconut in two sides where you can see real Mekong Delta people. Before sailing back to My Tho, we enjoy fresh fruits while traditional music shows to be played by Southern farmers.

Our awaiting vehicle will transfer us back to Ho Chi Minh City. Trip ends at lobby of the hotel.
