Julien Knez from Paris here (France). I found photos of Paris from 1871 to 1968 and photographed the same location from the same angle. Here are some images from my new book, “Paris, Fenêtres sur l’Histoire,” which was published by Parigramme.
When historical photographs are inserted into modern settings, we open incredible doors to the past. More than ever, the inquisitive contemporary spectator is thrust into the depths of time, as if given the opportunity to stroll on various stages, at the heart of History in the making.
