Venice, Italy’s beauty and culture were revealed in 39+ photographs.
I’ve wanted to visit Venice for as long as I can remember, and this year I finally got to check it off my bucket list. I was not let down. It has long trading history, and its narrow condensed back streets hide a secret around every corner. Despite how much I walked and searched, I know there is a lot more to see than what I saw in the five days I was there. The food is incredible, a combination of classic fresh Italian pizza and pasta, as well as some of the freshest and most diverse seafood and fish I’ve ever eaten.
In my opinion, a few must-sees for any visitor to Venice are St Marks Square at dawn before the crowds arrive, and its basilica, Cafe Florian, Harrys bar where the Bellini was invented, San Barnaba church where a famous scene from Indiana Jones was filmed, and, of course, the famous Rialto market of fish and fruit stalls. I would recommend that everyone visit his beautiful city, especially if you are a photographer; I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
