Bai Chay – Ha Long
Bai Chay is an artificial beach, located along Ha Long Bay. The sea has a unique terrain with low hills running smoothly toward the sea embracing ancient pine trees, interspersed with hotels, small villas with separate architecture.
Bai Chay Nguyen is a diamond-shaped island of 6 km long. The widest part is 2 km with an area of 1145.85 ha. The North of the island is Cua Luc Bay. The National Highway 18A was opened in the 1930s. In the South of the island, overlooking Ha Long Bay, there is Ha Long road built in 1959. The Reu Island is 300m from the shore which is easy to see when going from the Port Bai Chay. In the East of the island, there is a ferry terminal (now a bridge) connecting with Hong Gai ward.
Bai Chay is located along Ha Long Bay with sandy beach over 1000m long and 100m wide. This is the beach that attracts a lot of tourists during the tourism season.
Across the paved road is a strip of white sand and green casuarina. Currently, Hoang Gia International has invested many services in this beach. Bai Chay tourist area is planned to be the most beautiful tourist area in Ha Long city, including restaurants, water puppet performers and ethnic musicians, Royal International Park, windsurfing and cycling services. If tourists travel to Ha Long tour, they spend a certain amount of time exploring this Bai Chay beach.
