1. Horseshoe Hill

Horseshoe Hill is located in Sang Nhu village, about 2 km from Mu Cang Chai town center. Horseshoe Hill is one of the typical destinations for the natural picture of Mu Cang Chai every golden season. Here visitors can enjoy the scenery from sunrise to sunset. Among them, the sunset scene is loved by many photographers.

2. Big Raspberry Hill

Raspberry Hill is also a symbol of Mu Cang Chai, round in shape, located in La Pan Tan commune, more than 8 km from the town center. This is one of the places that the tourism community considers the most beautiful terraced fields in the Northwest region. Raspberry Hill is beautiful but difficult to travel. If you are not familiar with the road and have poor driving skills, visitors can hire a local to take them by motorbike taxi.

3. Little Raspberry Hill

Little Raspberry Hill is also located in La Pan Tan Commune, and is often quieter than the big hill, so visitors can take photos of themselves checking in without people here. The scenery at Little Raspberry Hill is also wider and more panoramic, with streams flowing between terraced fields.

4. Mui Giay Hill

Mui Giay Hill in De Xu Phinh Commune is located nearly 2 km from Mam Xoi Hill and near National Highway 32. The terraced fields here are located in the valley, surrounded by a winding stream. To enter the valley, visitors cross a bamboo bridge connecting the two banks of the fields. This place is considered an ideal place to check in in a quiet space, not as crowded as other places. 5. Kim Noi terraced fields and rocky outcrop

The terraced fields and rocky outcrop are located in Kim Noi village, about 8 km from Mu Cang Chai central market. The road has been paved with concrete, making it convenient for motorbikes to travel, with some steep sections but not difficult. Small 5-7 seater cars can go, but note that they cannot avoid each other. Tourists can move according to the map. At the end, tourists will pass through the village, then have to climb about 300 m. 6. Dinosaur’s Back

This is the place to see the terraced fields of 4 communes of Mu Cang Chai district, including De Xu Phinh, La Pan Tan, Che Cu Nha and Mo De. Visitors can go from Che Cu Nha about 3 km along the trail, or through De Xu Phinh about 7 km to Phinh Ho village. Tour guides in Mu Cang Chai said that both routes require a motorbike taxi for a part of the way, so visitors choose this means of transport to go the whole way to save time.

7. Che Cu Nha

The terraced fields in Che Cu Nha commune are located in the north, nearly 20 km from the center of Mu Cang Chai. In Che Cu Nha, there are not only many terraced fields located on high ground, but also the simple life of the H’Mong people in the villages. In 2007, the terraced fields in Che Cu Nha commune, along with La Pan Tan and De Xu Phinh, were recognized as national landscapes and ranked in the top 10 most beautiful terraced fields in the world. 8. Mo De bamboo forest

According to Mua A Giang, a local tour guide, Mo De bamboo forest, located about 3.5 km from the center of Mu Cang Chai town, is about 80 years old. Initially, bamboo trees here were planted mainly to make houses and water troughs. Currently, the bamboo forest has expanded to 3 hectares, becoming a famous check-in point for tourists, with many natural landscapes and convenient steps.

The bamboo forest stands out with tall, upright trees and a cool green space. The sunlight passing through creates mysterious rays of light. Many tourists choose to “act” in the bamboo forest following martial arts movies. Mo De is considered by tourists to be one of the most beautiful bamboo forests in Vietnam.

In addition, in Mu Cang Chai there is also Pung Luong bamboo forest.

9. Corn house

Many tourists also check in with corn houses. Corn houses are everywhere along the way, but the most famous is the house in Mang Mu village, Mo De commune. This place impresses with its space with many bright yellow corn trusses hanging throughout the house. After each crop, highland people often hang corn for storage, so visitors can easily see houses with bright corn trellises in front of the porch.

10. Khau Pha pass parachute flying point

Khau Pha Pass, one of the four great passes of Vietnam, located at an altitude of 1,500 m above sea level, is one of the favorite places to view ripe rice.

For more than 10 years, Khau Pha Pass has also been a famous parachute flying spot every rice season. Tourists who register in advance will have 10 to 30 minutes of flight time (with experts), depending on weather conditions.
