DAY 1: SAIGON
Arrive in Saigon and transfer to your hotel.

DAY 2: SAIGON & CU CHI TUNNELS
Gain a sense of the city’s history on a guided tour before exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels.

DAY 3: MEKONG DELTA
Cruise the Mekong Delta by boat, stopping to sample fruit from local orchards.

DAY 4: SAIGON TO HOI AN
Fly north to Danang and travel to charming Hoi An. Get to know the town on a walking tour and uncover hidden gems through ancient doorways.

DAY 5: HOI AN
Spend a full day in Hoi An at your leisure. You could shop till you drop or cycle to nearby Cua Dai beach.

DAY 6: HOI AN TO HUE

DAY 7: HUE TO HANOI
Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Hanoi.

DAY 9: HALONG BAY
Travel to Halong Bay for an unforgettable cruise among the seemingly endless limestone islands. Return to Hanoi.

DAY 10: HANOI

DAY 1: SAIGON

DAY 11: HALONG BAY
Visit a beautiful limestone grotto then head back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay before returning to Hanoi and boarding your overnight train to Sapa.

DAY 12: SAPA
On arrival at Lao Cai train transfer to Sapa. From Sapa drive south towards the Muong Hoa Valley, and then descend by foot through the largest terraced rice paddy area in the Sapa region. Go through the village of Lao Chai, home to the Black Hmong minority, then onto the village of Ta Van village, inhabited by the Giay minority before returning to Sapa.

DAY 13: SAPA
Today drive out of Sapa to the Red Dzao village of Giang Ta Chai. One of the area’s best known and most colourful minorities, Red Dzao women shave their heads and eyebrows and wear bright scarlet turbans. Late this afternoon transfer from your hotel to Lao Cai station for the overnight train back to Hanoi.

DAY 14: HANOI
