DAY 1: LUANG PRABANG
Transfer to your hotel from Luang Prabang Airport.

DAY 2: LUANG PRABANG
Visit a local market with an expert guide, discover the beautiful former Royal Palace, sample a selection of 32 gilded temples and ascend the steps of Phou Si, the highest point in Luang Prabang to marvel at the panoramic views of this World Heritage listed town.

DAY 3: KUANG SI FALLS
Discover the beauty of Kuang Si Falls, one of the most beautiful falls Luang Prabang has on offer. You have the chance to relax and swim amidst stunning verdant jungle surrounds and turquoise pools at the base of the falls. Near the falls, get up close with some Asiatic Black Bears which are cared for at a bear sanctuary.

DAY 4: LUANG PRABANG & VIENTIANE
Transfer from your hotel to Luang Prabang for your flight on to Vientiane. On arrival at Vientiane Airport you are transferred to your hotel.

DAY 5: VIENTIANE
Located on the Mekong River, Vientiane is Laos' capital and largest city retaining an 'old world' feel unlike other Asian cities. Your tour takes in a sample of the city's main sights including Vientiane's oldest original temple, Wat Sisaket and the golden-spired Phra That Luang before continuing on to the COPE Visitor's Centre, an organisation providing prosthetic limbs to victims of UXOs and vehicle accidents in Laos. Your tour concludes at the Patuxai Monument, for city panoramic views.

DAY 6: VIENTIANE
Transfer from your hotel to Vientiane Airport for your onward journey.

DAY 2: LUANG PRABANG

Travel south overland to Vang Vieng, winding through stunning mountain landscapes. En route you pass through roadside villages and markets, some of which you may stop at to observe local life. Vang Vieng holds a scenic charm. On arrival enjoy free time to explore the town or relax by the Nam Song River.

DAY 5: TREKKING & RIVER KAYAKING
Enjoy a gentle trek through the countryside surrounding Vang Vieng town to visit the H'mong village Ban Pha Thao. Climb to the top of an outcrop to discover wonderful views of surrounding countryside, rest and a picnic lunch before continuing on to Tham Nam water cave. This afternoon kayak the Nam Song River back towards Vang Vieng town, travelling the final stretch into town by mini-van.

DAY 6: VANG VIENG & VIENTIANE
Following a leisurely breakfast, soak up the peaceful village life that characterises so much of rural Laos. Late morning, return to Vientiane, stopping en route to visit a local market and observe some of the unfamiliar products on offer. Continue to the capital city Vientiane and check in to your hotel.
